French Without Tears - Full cast announcement!

27 May 2016

We are thrilled to announce our full cast for our second revivial of French Without Tears by Terence Rattigan, directed by Paul Miller, a co-proudction with the Orange Tree Theatre and Exeter Northcott Theatre.

Tim Delap, Ariane Gray, Ziggy Heath, Alex Large, Florence Roberts, Beatriz Romilly and Alistair Toovey join original cast members Joe Eyre and David Whitworth in the return of Paul Miller's sell-out production of Terence Rattigan’s sparkling 1936 comedy opening at the Orange Tree in June followed by a UK tour in Autumn 2016 to Exeter, Harrogate, Barnstable, Cheltenham, Doncaster, Oldham, Warwick, Poole and Huddersfield.

After a group of young men arrive at Monsieur Maingot’s French school for the summer to cram for the Diplomatic exam, their concentration is disrupted by beautiful visitor Diana Lake. Quelle surprise, they must learn another new language: girls.
At first, it seems pretty simple. Kit loves Diana and she loves him. And Bill. Oh, and darling Alan, of course. Then there’s Jack: she’s in love too. Meanwhile, Babe conceals his feelings…
Not so simple after all.
Terence Rattigan’s sparkling 1936 comedy was the first smash-hit success from the writer of The Deep Blue Sea, Separate Tables and The Winslow Boy.
