Seb Morgan is a Welsh speaker originally from the South Wales valleys, before he left to train at East15 acting school. During his time in college he received much praise for his roles as one of the Cheeryble brothers in Nicolas Nickleby, the working class Scrub in The Beaux’ Stratagem and his biggest challenge, Julius Ceaser.
After leaving collage Seb went on to work in television, film and theatre and started an apprenticeship in stage combat for the British Academy of Dramatic Combat (BADC). After passing his teachers’ exam, he was invited to join and become a teacher for the Academy of Dramatic Combat (APC) and has taught at some of the country’s leading drama schools including the RoyalWelsh College, Guildford School of Acting, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Oxford School of Drama.
Seb has been an actor and company fight captain on many shows including the national tour of The Hobbit, the Peter Pan pantomime in Sunderland Empire and the welsh tour of The Last Pirate, as well as being a fight performer at The Royal Opera House.
Theatre credits include: Bombur in The Hobbit (Number 1 Tour); Martin in The Last Pirate (Spectacle Theatre); Norval in Sleeping Beauty (Belgrade Theatre Coventry); Bill Jukes in Peter Pan (Sunderland Empire); MacDuff in Macbeth (Cearphilly Theatre, Wales); Mowgli in The Jungle Book (Sherman Theatre, Wales) and Spikie Joe in Bare (Edinburgh Fringe first winning show).
Television and film credits include: Tokyo Dave in Y Pris (Fiction Factory); Dave in Supertramp (NFTS award wining Graduation film); The Fighting Monkey in Con Passionate (S4C Wales); Lover in You Kill Me (Independent) and The Spy in Suitcase (Mango Chutney Films).
Seb also trains in martial arts and is a competitive fighter in Muay Thai boxing, brazilian jiu-jitsu, MMA and is training to become an Equity registered fight director.
