Dominic Haslam has been working as a composer, arranger and musical director since graduating from Bretton Hall College in 1998.
Compositions for theatre include: The Years Between (Royal & Derngate); ‘Tis Pity She’s A Whore (West Yorkshire Playhouse); The Prince of Homburg and Life is a Dream (Donmar Warehouse); Romeo & Juliet (Exeter Northcott Theatre); Serious Money (Birmingham Rep); The White Devil (Menier Chocolate Factory); The Elephant Man (Sheffield Lyceum and UK Tour); The Herbal Bed (Salisbury Playhouse)and Henry V (Royal Exchange).
Television and radio credits include; Museum of Everything (Series 1, 2 and 3); We Are History (Series 1 & 2) and Danny Robins’ Music Therapy.
Short Film scores include: The Rules of The Game; The Meeting and The Killing; Do Something for Nothing and Three Men On a Roof.
With librettist/lyricist Jenifer Toksvig, Dominic has written 2 musicals: Coppelia (adapted form the Hoffman Tales) and Mort (adapted from Terry Pratchett’s novel)
Most recent credits as musical director include: Jack and the Beanstalk and Aladdin (Watford Palace); Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Peter Pan (Churchill Theatre Bromley); Little Voice (Watermill) and Mirandolina (Royal Exchange).
