Finlay Cormack


Finlay trained on the 3 year BA Hons Acting course at East 15 Drama School. He was a finalist for the BBC Carlton Hobbs award in 2015 and trained extensively with BBC producer/director, Jeremy Mortimer, throughout the process. Finlay has worked continuously since graduating, and has built solid lead theatre and film credits, including: Percy Bysshe Shelley in US feature film, Chronology, which was shot on location in Poland, Laertes in The Hamlet Project with Flute Theatre/ETT (UK and International Tour) and at the Gdansk Shakespeare Theatre, a European tour of Pride and Prejudice with Palchetto Stage International in which he played Mr Bingley and most recently Young Polixenes in The Winter’s Tale at the Aldeburgh Festival, directed by Nina  Brazier. This Autumn, Finlay will play Ariel in a production of the The Tempest with Flute Theatre and co-produced with The Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond, and he will finish the year performing again as Laertes in Hamlet in the West End at the Trafalgar Studios.
