SIR IAN MCKELLEN
Ian McKellen has been acting since 1961 in London and on tour at home and abroad. He has often worked for regional companies as well as for the Royal Shakespeare Company and National Theatre companies. His earliest successes were with the defunct Prospect Theatre Company touring the UK with Richard II, Edward II and Hamlet. These productions and subsequent work are catalogued on www.mckellen.com
He has been ETT Patron since 1993.

Stephen graduated from RADA in 1994 and has since been acting in theatre, TV and Film, following several years in regional theatre playing in classics such as The Tempest, Twelfth Night and Hamlet. His successful seasons withthe Royal Shakespeare Company

ROBERT DELAMERE (CHAIRMAN)
In May 2016 Robert was announced by Creative Review as one of the UK’s top 50 Creative Leaders.
He currently works with Slams Films (Birthday, Away) as an Executive Producer developing projects across film and television.
As a critically acclaimed theatre, television director and opera director, Robert has directed over 40 productions in theatres such as The Donmar, Royal Court, Almeida, Hampstead Theatre, RSC and the West End including Dario Fo’s ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST, Stephen Adley Guirgis’ IN ARABIA WE’D ALL BE KINGS, Gary Mitchell’s THE FORCE OF CHANGE and IN A LITTLE WORLD OF OUR OWN, Owen McCafferty’s SHOOT THE CROW AND Peter Whelan’s A RUSSIAN IN THE WOODS.
He co-founded Digital Theatre and Digital Theatre Plus in 2009, respectively the world’s leading performing arts and arts education platforms, for which he has directed all 30 of their live captures of theatre and opera productions, including The Old Vic’s THE CRUCIBLE, Almeida’s GHOSTS, David Tennant and Catherine Tate in SFP’s MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, Glasgow Citizens/Tricycle Theatre production of Sam Shepard’s TRUE WEST and most recently Sherman Theatre’s IPHIGENIA IN SPLOTT. He continues to work as a consultant Creative Director for Digital Theatre and serves on the board.

Robert was formerly Creative Director of Amnesty International where he oversaw all their media output and cultural events including the 60th UNDHR anniversary project, where 30 of the world’s leading writers were commissioned to produce short stories based on the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, subsequently published under the title ‘Freedom.’
He is a Chairman of English Touring Theatre and a patron of the National Youth Arts Trust.
DAME JENNY ABRAMSKY DBE
Jenny Abramsky has been chair of the Royal Academy of Music since September 2014 and is also Chair of the Board of Governors of the Royal Ballet. From 2008 to 2014 she was Chair of the Lottery Fund/National Heritage Memorial Fund, as well as the Chair of the University of London, Board of Trustees. Previously she was Chair of Hampstead Theatre, bringing in Edward Hall as Artistic Director. She spent most of her working life at the BBC where she was for ten years the Director of Radio and of Music. Before that, as Director of Continuous News, she ran all the BBC's 24 hour news services on TV, Radio and Online. At the BBC she created and launched more news services than any previous BBC executive, including Radio Five Live, BBC News Online and BBC News 24. She is a trustee of the Shakespeare School's Festival and sits on the board of the Birmingham Royal Ballet and is Chair of Ladies who L-EARN. Previously she was a Governor of the British Film Institute, a trustee of Central School of Ballet and sat on the Economic and Social Research Council. Jenny was awarded a CBE in 2001 and made DBE in 2009.
Dan is the Chief Executive of Sheffield Theatres Trust, the UK’s largest regional theatre complex and voted as the Stage 100 Regional Theatre of the Year 2013. He began his theatre career at West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds, where he joined the company as Stage Manager and worked his way up to Executive Director before moving on to York Theatre Royal, where he was Chief Executive for five years. Whilst there he led the organisation through an exciting period of change including being the first theatre in Yorkshire to achieve the Investors in People standard.
Alongside his work at Sheffield Theatres, Dan is the deputy chair of Sheffield’s Cultural Consortium and an elected Council member of the Theatrical Management Association..
PAUL CORRIGAN CBE
Paul has reached the age where he has had four careers. He started as an academic social scientist teaching at Warwick and North London Poly. then after 12 years of working as a senior manager in London local government (being abolished twice at ILEA and the GLC) he then worked as political special adviser to two New Labour Secretary of State for Health and Tony Blair. He is now a management consultant and executive coach. His one semi professional brush with drama was to publish a strange book called Shakespeare on Management in 1999. He is nearly over it now. But still loves being in the audience at theatres.
Michael is a senior corporate lawyer at Gordon Dadds working on UK and international matters. Formerly, he was a corporate partner at Davenport Lyons for over 25 years and past President of Globalaw, providing an extensive legal and business contact base for firms and clients in over 90 countries. in addition to being actively involved in that network, Michael looks after the affairs of numerous personal and company clients and their businesses globally.
Olivia joined The Old Vic in 2011, working up from intern to Head of Corporate Development within four and a half years.
The Old Vic is one of the only theatres in London of such size, scale and international reputation not to receive any regular government subsidy.
Olivia leads the corporate fundraising team and is responsible for establishing the corporate fundraising strategy; stewarding partner relationships with businesses and brands across multiple sectors, including the theatre’s two longest, highest value, and award winning sponsorships; and securing new business to substantially contribute to the organisation’s overall £3.6 million annual fundraising target.
As a Trustee of ETT, Olivia combines her passion for theatre, her fundraising expertise and her interest in organisational management and business development.
Alastair has spent his career working in finance, in banking, business and advisory roles. His last full time executive position was as Chief Executive of Salix Finance Ltd. He currently has a portfolio of board and trustee roles including the Civil Aviation Authority’s consumer panel, HMRC’s Administrative Burdens Advisory Board, and St Mungo’s Broadway, London’s largest homeless charity, where he is honorary Treasurer. As a member of the ETT board and chair of its finance committee he brings together his keen interest in theatre with his financial and business expertise.
A four-time Olivier Award-winning producer in the UK and Tony Award nominated on Broadway, Michael McCabe is currently represented by Wicked (Olivier Audience Award, 2015 and 2010) at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre (where it is already the 8th longest running show in the West End) as well as by its record-breaking UK/International Tour, and by An American In Paris (Dominion Theatre). His previous producing credits include: Spring Awakening (Olivier Award, Best Musical); Million Dollar Quartet; Sweeney Todd (Olivier Award, Best Musical Revival) and, on Broadway, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (Tony® nomination, Best Musical Revival); On A Clear Day You Can See Forever and Promises, Promises.
In a career spanning more than 30 years, Michael is also renowned as one of the theatre industries most highly regarded marketing practitioners and was the original Marketing Director of Mamma Mia! (overseeing the first 14 international premieres) and is the co-founder of the London-based marketing company Joe Public Limited.
He is listed in Who's Who and by Debrett's (being named one of their 'People of Today' in 2010), and is a member of the Broadway League and the Society of London Theatre.
