Plot

The best place to learn French is surely at a beautiful seaside villa on the Riviera? You’d certainly think so. However, a group of young English men soon discover that there’s only one thing harder to understand than a new language – girls.

It all seems pretty simple. Kit loves Diana and she loves him. And Bill. Oh, and Alan, of course. Then there’s Jack, she’s in love too… Not so simple after all.

saw French Without last evening at Malvern, a super evening of light theatre, I was afraid that the jokes a would be ponderous and that time would drag, not at all, It was crisp, teasingley amusing and nicely paced. Acting was terrific, keep coming to Malvern.

I thought the production was fantastic. The direction was so classy and the acting was spot on. I loved the scene changes - what a clever way to get round the 'curtain'. Well done to everyone involved, especially the lovely Ben Mansfield! If you haven't seen it yet - go and get your ticket before it sells out.
