Honeymoon Suite is set in a pleasant, expensive seaside resort.  The play written in three episodes (the wedding night, the silver wedding anniversary, and the present day 23 years later) and follows the changing relationship of the main couple.  In the beginning of the play, young Eddie Winchell is motivated and confident, promising his new bride to elevate their position in society.  By the silver wedding anniversary, the older man Tits has been forced to commit crimes in order to reach the class position he had wanted, losing intimacy with his wife and ignoring his daughter along the way.  By the time the play gets to the present, Eddie has become a recluse in the hotel room while his wife has gotten a law degree and become a Baroness.  Honeymoon Suite is an episodic study in how relationships grow and change throughout the course of time.
