FULL TOUR DATES: French Without Tears and Lady Chatterley's Lover announcement

8 June 2016

Tour dates for autumn co-productions French Without Tears and Lady Chatterley’s Lover announced!

Rachel Tackley said today: "It is great to be able to announce the final two shows before I leave ETT. Although I am secretly planning a few more so that I don't leave the cupboard bare for my successor, these are the last ones I am actually going to see into production. It seems fitting that we are remounting French Without Tears with Paul Miller, who originally directed it for ETT not long after I joined the company, and apposite too that Lady Chatterley is a co-production with Sheffield - Daniel and I are both huge fans of Philip Breen so how could we resist squeezing in one last co-production before we leave?"

French Without Tears, following a return to co-producers Orange Tree theatre on 30 June-30 July, will launch the Regional Touring Network, an Arts Council England Strategic Touring consortium of nine regional venues with a tour in September.

Opening at co-proucers Exeter Northcott (16 - 24 September) before heading to Harrogate Theatres (27 September - 1 October), The Queen's Theatre, Barnstaple (4 - 6 October), Cheltenham Everyman (11 - 15 October), Cast, Doncaster (18 - 22 October), Oldham Coliseum Theatre (25 - 29 October), Warwick Arts Centre (1 - 5 November), Lighthouse Poole (8 - 12 November) and the Lawrence Batley Theatre Huddersfield (16 - 19 November).

Lady Chatterley’s Lover will open at co-producer Sheffield Theatres (22 September-15 October) as part of Artistic Director Daniel Evans' final season for the company. Evans takes up the post of Artistic Director at Chichester this autumn where he will be joined by ETT’s current Director, Rachel Tackley, as Executive Director.

It will then tour to Oxford (18 - 22 October), York (25 - 29 October), Malvern (1 - 5 November), Salisbury (8 - 12 November), Brighton (15 - 19 November) and Cambridge (22 - 26 November).
