Tartuffe Goes on Tour...

After three weeks' rehearsal here at ETT, our Autumn production of Tartuffe is out to
tour venues nationwide.
Over the next nine weeks this hilarious play will be showing at major venues nationwide. Molière’s famous comedy is re-told in a sparkling and witty version by Roger McGough; this is the second production since its opening in 2008 and its first national tour. With an exceptional cast and a creative team headed by Roger and by director Gemma Bodinetz, it promises to be a truly spectacular show.
The cast and creative team have been in residence here at ETT’s own rehearsal space over the past three weeks perfecting the show before heading out to open it in the Liverpool Playhouse, fittingly where the play was first commissioned and performed in 2008. After that the show will roll on to play week-long runs in Cambridge, Newcastle, Richmond, Exeter, Brighton, Ipswich and Watford to complete a tour reaching to all corners of the country.
