Movement Director

Lucy trained at Rhodes University, South Africa and went on to perform with the celebrated First Physical Theatre Company. She is the Associate Director of the award-winning Slung Low. Other recent credits include Choreographer on The Jacobin (Buxton Arts Festival); Movement Director on Enjoy, Refugee Boy and The Wind In The Willows (West Yorkshire Playhouse); The Sheffield Mysteries, This Is My Family and Love Your Soldiers (Sheffield Theatres).

 

Lucy performed in and created The Impending Storm with David Toole, Mark Storor and Remix Dance, a commission from the Cultural Olympiad Unlimited Commissions. She also co-created the award winning Extra-Ordinary which toured internationally.

 

Other notable credits include: The London 2012 Paralympics Opening Ceremony; Manchester Sound: The Massacre (Library Theatre) and Stuart: A Life Backwards (Hightide Festival/ Edinburgh International Festival). Lucy’s choreography for television includes Peter Pan (BBC) and Banana (E4/Red Productions).
