He is a co-founder of Ed Hall’s all-male Shakespeare company, Propeller, and has appeared in eight acclaimed productions over ten years, including Bottom in A Midsummer’s Night Dream (Comedy, New York), Feste in Twelfth Night, Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew (The Old Vic, New York and world tour - TMA Best Touring Production 2003), Autolyclus in The Winter’s Tale, Jack Cade in Rose Rage (Haymarket and Dublin - TMA Best Touring Production 2002), Feste in Twelfth Night (TMA Best Production 2000), Egeon in A Comedy of Errors and Fluellen in Henry V (Watermill, Stratford and world tour).

Radio credits include: DH Lawrence’s Travels in Italy, The White Peacock, Love Among the Haystacks and he has written a radio play about Brian Clough.

Tony also directs at The National Youth Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe and several London drama schools.

Trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
